ARCOTEL Castellani Salzburg

A little disappointed by this hotel. The hotel has two buildings with two different sets of rooms. We couldn’t find our building and the receptionist was annoyed at us for asking where our building was. We got to the room and 1 out of 2 keys didn’t work. We also requested a double bed and had 2 single beds. In the morning when we wanted to use the gym, it was in the other building which we didn’t have swipe access to. This then became our fault when asking reception to fix the error because “well you are in the other building”. We then were given 3 different keys, none of which gave us access to the gym, so after being walked to the gym by one of the staff, when we came back to our room none of our now 4 keys worked to open our room and we had to go back to reception. After getting to breakfast we realised that it was NOTHING like the photos. Minimal food and almost all the fruit was over or under ripe. I will never come back. I will comment though it’s fairly close to town about 1.5km and the hotel itself is beautiful. Just lots of room for improvement.

In conclusion, my stay at ARCOTEL Castellani was a delightful blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly memorable and indulgent escape. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can't wait to return for another enchanting stay.

The hotel is in a good location the staff are super nice and friendly. I asked to buy something from the bar because I liked the presentation. However, a manager who was busy drinking with his friends, arrogantly refused. This shows unfriendly approach towards clients. I am noticing more decline in service in locations once considered best tourist attractions. In fact Europe is in decline in terms of service to customers. Managers and people in charge become more brutal and arrogant. Investors should understand and hire the right people. It is hard-earned money that customers spend and they deserve and demand respect not unprofessional low life treatment from incompetent people.
